Shanghai, January 24, 2024. Vitesco Technologies China today announced key personnel appointments. Dr. Li Peng, current head of Powertrain Solutions division China, is additionally appointed as president of Vitesco Technologies China and will take lead of business development in China. Yu Changsong, current head of Electric Drive Systems business unit China, is additionally appointed as head of Electrification Solutions division China. Gregoire Cuny, current president of Vitesco Technologies China and head of Electrification Solutions division China, will take office as president of Vitesco Technologies France. In the new roles, the three above-mentioned leaders will report directly to Thomas Stierle, Member of the Executive Board, head of Electrification Solutions division. The appointments will take effect on February 1, 2024.

I firmly believe that the appointed successors will lead the company to reach new heights with their deep knowledge of the automotive industry and international perspective,” said Gregoire Cuny.
Gregoire Cuny has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, and nearly 14 years of it has been spent in the Chinese market. In 2018, he was appointed as president of Vitesco Technologies China. During his tenure, despite the huge impact of COVID-19 pandemic and the fluctuations in the global supply chain, Cuny successfully led the company to complete important business integrations and conducted a series of key investments in China's electrification arena. He plays a leading role in implementing electrified products offline activities, putting into use of research and development centers, localizing supply-chain and reaching strategic agreements with Chinese OEMs. Under his exclusive leadership, from 2018 to 2023, the company has received more than 40-billion-yuan order intakes for electrification products, making outstanding contributions to the company’s global e-mobility transformation.
Dr. Li Peng joined Continental in 2010 and held key positions in product strategy, business development, corporate strategy and other important fields. In 2019, he was appointed as head of Sensing & Actuation business unit of Vitesco Technologies China. In 2023, he was promoted to be head of Powertrain Solutions division China, aiming to provide cash and value for the company’s electrification transformation. Dr. Li graduated from Jilin University in China with a Ph. D degree in mechatronics engineering in 2007.
Yu Changsong joined Continental in 2004. He has international project management experience in Regensburg, Schwalbach, Germany, and Shanghai, China. In 2020, he was appointed as head of Electrification Technology business unit in the Asia-Pacific region, and in 2023, he started his new role as head of Electric Drive Systems business unit. Yu Changsong graduated from Hohai University with a master's degree in business administration.
