    • Partnership from 2012 between German Kronstadt Vocational School and Vitesco Technologies

Brasov, June 29, 2020. Vitesco Technologies continues the tradition and maintains the partnership with the vocational schools from the city. In 2012 Continental and Kronstadt German Vocational School, the first German dual vocational school in Romania, started the partnership in order to educate students on operator profiles for numerically controlled machines, mold technicians and electromechanics.

So far, about 100 students have been successfully supported and developed during the school years by Continental and Vitesco Technologies, respectively. In 2018, the Brasov Technical Campus was “born” from the desire to promote the profession specializations supported by the German Economic Club (DWKFFF), by expanding the collaboration with two illustrious schools in Brasov: the German Kronstadt Vocational School and the Remus Răduleț Energy Technical College.

“We believe that our responsibility is to prepare students for a constantly changing world, while respecting the traditions that make up our company. To achieve this, we rely on an efficient collaboration between the economic environment, students, teachers and parents, offering students a place of exploration, discovery and learning", says Ramona Porca, Director of Human Relations at Vitesco Technologies Brasov.

The national evaluation has ended and the admission of students to high schools and dual profile schools follows. In the current context, this year, the admission will take place within the online platforms, as interviews between students and company specialists. For the 2020-2021 school year, Vitesco Technologies aims to support 30 new students, who will join the Ghimbav team in the next three years.

The profession specializations that students can opt for, are operator of numerically controlled machines, electromechanics for industrial machinery and installations, mold technicians, polymer manufacturing and processing operator, machinery and industrial installation mechanics. The vocational school in dual system is addressed to eighth grade school graduates, has an educational period of three years, with the possibility of attending the secondary educational school. It is the place where students are constantly guided by teachers and specialists from different companies, where they learn a profession and the emphasis is on practice. Immediately after graduation, a qualification is obtained and there is the opportunity to be hired within the companies, depending on the seriousness shown and the results obtained by the pupils.

"We wish a lot of success to all the students and we are waiting for them in the Vitesco Technologies team from Brasov!", adds Ramona Porca.
